Good place to get the american pub experience. Drank some nice beer, ate some salted peanuts and tried out my first jellow shot (kinda terrible 😅 but not their fault).

It's a dive. But I love dive bars, and the Elwood is wonderful because of all the nice bartenders. Definitely my favorite bar in Chula Vista

Had a mix drink of Malort, Fernet and Montenegro. I call it a DEFCON 3. 100% recommend.

Lovely dive bar. This and doc's are the only places I go to anymore in town. Drinks are well priced, pool is $0.50 good tunes and excellent bar tenders. Always a good time.

Great neighborhood bar. The best smoking area in Chula Vista. Really nice outdoor area. Staff are very friendly. Love this bar. 😀

This gem in the South Bay has it all: great selections, well-curated, cool bartenders brimming with intellect, pool tables, smoking deck, friendly regulars. Don’t bother going downtown or North County. Right out of a John Fante novel or Jim Thompson’s Now and on Earth.

My brother and I stopped by and took a chance on this bar, we were pleasantly surprised that the local neighborhood bar was pretty cool. We enjoyed Mehan the bartender, she was cool and down to earth. Definitely will visit again.
